ABOUT ALAINA GARLAND

Alaina Garland is a native of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts in English from The University of Mississippi with a minor in Sociology. She received her Juris Doctor from The University of Mississippi School of Law, where she earned a Concentration in Criminal Law and completed more than 100 hours of pro bono legal services for indigent Mississippians prior to graduating. Alaina then received a Masters of Law degree in Indigenous Peoples’ Law from The University of Oklahoma College of Law. She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and admitted to practice in all state courts in Oklahoma as well as in Choctaw Nation and Cherokee Nation tribal courts.

With invaluable experience in criminal law, tribal law, and a passion for helping others, Alaina runs a full service criminal defense and family law practice in Eastern Oklahoma, primarily in LeFlore County and the surrounding areas.
